This lovely Mint bush with open lilac flowers grows naturally in heath and wet sclerophyll forest on sandy soil, mainly in gullies and rocky areas, and is found in Blackheath and along the northern Blue Mountains near Mt Wilson etc. Plant in a well-drained soil in dappled shade rather than full sun. Can be pruned lightly after flowering into a rounded shrub which will promote density and flowering.
