Melaleuca hypericifolia is a hardy plant which will grow to 2-3m in a range of soils. It appreciates regular watering and will even tolerate somewhat boggy spots. It will grow in full sun to shade but is likely to produce more blooms with reasonable sunshine. It can be lightly pruned to shape or hard pruned almost to the ground if needed to completely rejuvenate it.
