Clematis glycinoides is a woody climber to 2.5m. Both flowers and fruits are decorative features. It is a useful climber that could be used to cover the framework of a fernery. The growth is very dense and provides safe nesting sites for small native birds. Juvenile leaves have interesting markings quite distinct from adult leaves.
