A shrub growing to 2.5 m high and nearly as wide, it has a very limited distribution, naturally occurring from near Woodford to Mt Victoria and usually found in damp and swampy sites next to watercourses, on sandstone substrate. The small ball shaped flowers which can range from white to yellow appear from January to April.
