Acacia longifolia is commonly called the Sydney Golden Wattle, and is widespread and hardy. It never fails to delight with its large spikes of bright yellow flowers in late winter and spring. As a tall shrub or a small tree, it can grow to a height of 8m but is generally smaller on our poorer soils here in the mountains.
