A great way to be able to support the ongoing work of the Wildplant Rescue Service and our Katoomba Native Plant Nursery is to make a bequest in your will. As we are a not-for-profit charity registered with ACNC (Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission) you can be assured that all monies we receive will be going to directly support our important work for the Blue Mountains Natural Heritage...our wonderful bush plants!
With this in mind we have put together some legal wording that you could include....
"I give [specific asset/percentage/share] to Blue Mountains Wildplant Rescue Service Incorporated ABN 44 910 994 603, a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, for its general purposes. I direct that the receipt of the treasurer, secretary, or other authorized officer shall be a sufficient discharge to my executor for this gift. If the association ceases to exist or is no longer a registered charity at my death, I direct this gift to [alternative beneficiary]."
